This week is Get Online Week, founded back in 2007 to bring digital inclusion to national attention in the UK. Annually since then, thousands of events have taken place in communities across the UK, giving everyone the chance to find the help they need to improve their digital skills.
In 2019 the campaign in the UK reached more than 56,000 people at 4,000 events, and in Australia, their second annual Get Online Week supported 26,000 people at more than 1,000 events.
This year's campaign is all about asking you to help people safely, whether that’s over the phone, using digital tools like video calls, or in person on 1-1 basis but only when and where it’s safe to do so.
